GUIDELINES

We have been inundated with submissions this year and it will be a challenge to accommodate everyone. Please be understanding and stick to your allocated time if you have a speaking spot.

Posters

Posters should be A0 in size. (We can not display anything larger) They can be laminated if desired and will be hung with velcro dots. Digital copies must be received by 10  September 2021. They should be labelled – Poster – Submission ID, Name, Topic. and emailed to jeff.poole@dcq.org.au. Printed posters must be received by Monday 4th October 2021.  Please deliver them to the Civic Centre. You may post them to DCQ before this if you will not arrive in time. They should be clearly marked and addressed Attention: Jeff Poole |92 Galah St | Longreach, QLD | 4730. You may collect your poster after 3pm on Thursday 8th October up until midday Friday. Any uncollected posters will not be kept unless prearranged. If, for any reason, you are unable to collect your poster at this time, let us know and we will store it for you. Submissions

Short submissions must be checked and finalised on Oxford Submissions before 31 August 2021. Those invited to submit an extended paper should email this to jeff.poole@dcq.org.au by 10th  September 2021. Files should be named Paper – Submission ID, Name, Topic. These will be uploaded to the conference and ARS websites. Guidelines can be found here and a template is here.

Lightning Presentation

A lightning presentation is allocated 5 minutes. You may wish to present for a shorter time to allow for a question. As the time is limited, you may want to organise to meet people in the Networking space at an allocated time afterwards to further any discussion. You may choose to just have a title slide/image or a maximum of 3 slides. Presentations must be received  by COB on the 21st September. Please email to jeff.poole@dcq.org.au and label Pres – Submission ID, Name, Topic. Powerpoints should be in widescreen format (38.87cm x 19/05cm) and videos should be 1920 x 1080 dpi. Full Presentation

Full presentations are allocated 15 minutes. You may wish to present for a shorter time to allow for questions. Please try and keep your slides to a maximum of 10 slides. Presentations must be received  by COB on the 21st September. Please email to jeff.poole@dcq.org.au and label Pres – Submission ID, Name, Topic. Invited Speaker

Invited speakers may have varying time allocations. We can assist you in facilitating question times through an app. If you have questions, polls or other information you would like to put to the attendees, please let us know and provide this before hand so we can load the questions.  Presentations must be received  by COB on the 22nd September.
